The 2019/20 season has come to an end, and Bayern are undoubtedly his best team. But there is no point in talking about the past – our gaze is directed forward, especially since all the leading leagues have already returned to our television screens. Already now we can say with confidence that many clubs surprised us – what is only Everton and Tottenham, who lured world-famous stars to the Premier League. Let’s talk about the teams that are sure to delight neutral viewers.
The start of the new season in La Liga turned out to be excellent for Betis – with victories over Alaves in extra time. Although last season this team took 15th place, now most fans are optimistic.
Why? Manuel Pellegrini, an outstanding specialist, became the head coach of the green-whites. And even if the club did not make high-profile purchases, Claudio Bravo from Manchester City and Martin Montoya from Brighton came here. Many fans are pinning their hopes on star Nabil Fekir, who has a vibrant season behind him, and such outstanding performers as Sergio Canales and Borja Iglesias.
On the other side of the city, things are changing too. While the whole world watched the drama of Lionel Messi at Barcelona, Yulen Lopetegui was conducting a quiet revolution at Sevilla.
With him at the helm, the Red-Whites finished fourth in La Liga and won the sixth League Cup Europe. This season, the club’s prospects are even more encouraging – especially after an impressive shopping experience in the summer.
After Ever Banega left, the club needed someone new, as a result of which Oscar Rodriguez from Real Madrid and Ivan Rakitic from Barcelona. Suso came from Milan in winter. How not to rejoice here?
Life is cyclical. The giants die and are resurrected, and now, finally, it is time for Milan to declare themselves in full voice. Once the strongest club in Italy, in recent years it barely held the top of the table.
Things began to change with the arrival of coach Stefano Pioli, who helped the team to play beautifully and effectively, and to believe in themselves. Last but not least, Milan stepped up in this transfer window by inviting the talented Sandro Tonali and, six months earlier, the reliable Simon Chier. Well, in the attack, everything is fine in the presence of Braim Diaz and Ante Rebic, not to mention the ageless Zlatan.
In general, there is no question of the line-up: few would refuse the services of such performers as Gianluigi Donnarumma, Ismael Bennasser and Rafael Leao. All indications are that Milan’s return to the Champions League is just around the corner.
Wolverhampton kicked off the new season with a confident victories over Sheffield. A strong and well-trained team of Nuno Espirito Santo continues to play for pleasure, even if the European cups do not shine for them this season. But it might even be a good thing, because this way the wolves can focus their full attention on the Premier League.
And most importantly, we managed to preserve the (Portuguese-speaking) squad for the most part , without which it is difficult to imagine the modern “Wolverhampton”. Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez are still here, plus the talented Fabiu Silva has joined the team. Well, Captain Conor Cody and João Moutinho inspire confidence that Santa’s project will continue to develop. This Wolverhampton will be feared by all.
When things got really tough, Everton’s management invited one of the best coaches in the world. Now, under the direction of Carlo Ancelotti, the Blues have taken the next step and called in James Rodriguez, a global star. Yes, last season the Liverpudlians did not perform any feats, but now, inspired by good purchases and the champion’s experience of their coach, the “toffee” are ready to take the next step to success.
This season we already see a completely new Everton, and the victory over Tottenham only confirms this. In addition to Hames, the team called Allan and Abdulai Dukure, and with them the midfield of the “butterscotch” cannot be called “solid”.
